Heidelberg Materials Belgium is currently looking for a

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

to join our headquarter located in Braine l’Alleud


You’ll reinforce our motivated Learning and Development team and will report directly to the L&D Manager.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • Manage all the trainings for 3 Business lines (Aggregates, RMC and Cement) for White and Blue Collars (mandatory trainings, function specific trainings, certifications).
  • Coordinate the local Training Administrators based on plants and the Learning & Development activities; share best practices, encourage exchange of ideas and procedures, optimize the communication flow.
  • Centralize the trainings needs, manage the budget and requests for subsidies.
  • Develop, implement (in LMS) and monitor function specific training programs at junior-, middle and senior levels.
  • Keep up to date with new development and technology trends (LMS, Intranet, SharePoint, Teams) and share this knowledge.
  • Develop plans for career development, succession planning and internal mobility together with the Business.
  • Work in clause collaboration with the L&D team (alignment or projects) and training partners.

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of L&D (in HR/Training by preference)
  • You have strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You are proactive and solution minded.
  • You are customer-focused and result oriented.
  • You are organized, flexible and able to honor agreed deadlines.
  • You have a strong ability to work independently and take initiatives.
  • You are able to convey your ideas convincingly.
  • You have an excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and French, English is a plus.
